Knox College was founded in 1844 as part of the schism movement of the Church of Scotland following the Disruption. The first college was located where the Eaton’s Centre presently is. The Second location of the College was built in 1875 and was located in the building at One Spadina Crescent. This current building was built in 1915 and is beside University College.
